Dear colleagues,
You are invited to the first annual Center for Cognitive Sciences Emerging Technologies Workshop. This year's topic is electroencephalography (EEG): An Interdisciplinary Technique. Two experts (Dr. Yang Zhang and Dr. Paul Collins) from the university will explain what EEG is and how it works, as well as why you may want to use EEG to answer some of your research questions. Emily Kappenman, UC Davis, will lead a hands-on session where she will demonstrate the technique and explain appropriate analyses. The day will begin with coffee and pastries and lunch will be served to those who register for the event.
This event will be held on December 5, 2014 from 9-4 and is a great opportunity to learn more about EEG as well as connect with others on campus who share an interest in this neural recording technique. The event is free and open to everyone, but preference will be given to graduate students if capacity is reached. All are encouraged to attend!
LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED FOR THOSE WHO REGISTER BY NOVEMBER 1ST. Register at http://z.umn.edu/njf
